Pinata Color - My New Favorite Paint

While out cleaning up my deck today getting ready to shoot the pictures of my Outdoor Candelabra, my attention was drawn to the wall hanging that has been in the deck area for several years.  When I bought it at the store, I thought it was so cool looking, but when I got it home and hung it on the side of my house, it was just blaaaa. No Pop, no Color!  The siding on my house is a brown color and it just sort of blended in.  I have been debating (at least 3 years now) what to do about it, I wanted to paint it, but really didn't know with what. The discovery of Pinata Color Paints entered my life recently. I first saw it on someone's blog, but i can't remember which one, sorry, and became really intrigued with then.  I took my 40% off coupon straight to Dick Blick's and got me some.  I didn't really have a plan of what I would do with them, but I knew I would come up with something. When I looked at this wall hanging today a light bulb went off..  A match if I ever saw one!  This literally took me about 30 mins, if that, to take off the wall carry it into my garage and  paint it with the Pinata Color Paints..  It is so much better!!! I just wish I had taken a picture of it hanging on the side of my house, so you could have seen how Blaaaa it  really was.

I used the Calabaza Orange on the stars the Sapphire Blue on the Moon, and Lime Green on the tendrils to the starts!  What do you think?  Not bad for a 30 min. project that I have been thinking about for 3 years!!

Look at the difference this paint makes

Some more pictures!  I am so excited about the possibilities of this paint.  It can be used on just about anything, metal, plastic, leather, glass, and polymer clay and more I am sure.  The colors are so vibrant, but transparent at the same time.

Thanks for looking!
