Rusty Old Plant Stand to Beautiful Outdoor Candelabra

I finished two projects today.  This is the first one.  It has been a while since I have gotten to work on anything, it was a beautifully warm day here in Southern Indiana, and I could not wait to get out into my garage, I mean my,  Studio.

I found this old Plant Stand at my favorite junk  treasure finding Story.  I really would not have known what the heck it was if it had not  had "Plant Stand" written on the tag.  When I first saw it, I thought it would look cool as an outdoor candelabra on my deck. So this is the before.

I took it apart (which was really easy) and spray painted with  Rust-oleum Metallic Black paint on the wrought iron parts, and Rust-oleum Hammered paint and primer in the color Rosemary (which is a new color to me) on the wooden parts. The Rosemary is a very soft color of green. I really love this color.  Here are all the parts after painting.

After assembling all the parts (it only took me 2 tries to get it put back together right) I loaded it up with all the short, chunky candles I had on hand and put it on my deck!  What do you think?  Not bad for $4.99. huh?

I waited until it got dark, so I could light the candles to see what it would look  like
I " like"  how about you?

Of course we will have to be careful around it when the candles are lit, and of course no little ones around.

Thanks for looking!
